G.E.T : Solar Engineer Job Profile and Description ( Common for both Plant and Site )

Mechanical/Electrical/Applied Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication

Duties and Responsibilities
- A solar engineer plans, executes and documents project work according to given objectives.
- He visualizes and performs tests under supervision of a project manager to reach given project objectives
- Such experimental work may include substrate cleaning, coating, printing, thermal evaporation, device encapsulation, and device testing
- He has to collect, analyze and arrange data in a proper format on a daily basis
- He has to maintain laboratory notebooks and logs in accordance with company’s policies and legal requirements
- He has to prepare and submit technical reports, help in making project progress reports and present progress as determined by the project manager
- He is responsible for the general maintenance of laboratory and electronics equipment
- He must also regularly monitor supplies and inventory, and keep the stocks full.
- Safety procedures must be followed while testing and handling chemicals.
Skills and Specifications
- Good communication skills both written and verbal is important written and in English
- He must be able to participate in and contribute towards technical discussions or issues
- He must be innovative, result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
- He should be able to meet targets and deadlines
- Experience in prior project work in an industry environment is helpful.

A1. Most probably, No. The written test will be common for all students.

A1. Yes. You will be asked stream specific questions in the Technical Interview.

A3. The company has promised to recruit a good number provided they see Quality.
Q4. What documents should I carry? Should I carry my original certificates for the recruitment drive?
A4. Please carry copies of your 10th, 12th and Semester certificates. Also carry 2 copies of your resume and 2 passport size photographs.
Q5. When will the recruitment Process start?
A5. Students will come to college as per their everyday bus timings. The recruitment process will start around 9AM. This is a one day recruitment process.
