FAQ
Q1. I have not given the AMCAT previously, can I give it now?
A1. Yes, You can give the AMCAT now. BUT, this will be taken as your final score. You will not be given another opportunity to better your score.
Q2. Should we pay 200Rs again for this test?
A2. No. Each student appearing for the AMCAT Test will pay Rs.200 for 2 attempts. If you have appeared for AMCAT earlier, you are eligible to appear again without paying anything extra.
Q3. Since I am paying Rs.200, I should be allowed 2 attempts. When will the next test be?
A3. 1st Attempt was on 23rd February. If you missed that, you have only 1 attempt left.
Q4. I have done very well in my 1st attempt. Is it Mandatory to take the 2nd test?
A4. No, it is not Mandatory. Congratulations on your Confidence, but my suggestion would be to take it again and improve your score. If you have score 98, try scoring 99.
Q5. If I score less than my first attempt what will happen?
A5. The best score of the 2 attempts will be considered.
Q6. Once the company arrives will there be a written test?
A6. No. There will be no more written test for companies that come through Aspiring Minds. Please consider AMCAT as the written test. Based on the score of AMCAT, students will be shortlisted for the PI/GD round.
Q7. When should I pay the 200Rs?
A7. The Registration fees for appearing for the AMCAT will be collected in due time. A Notice will be circulated regarding the same. It is also possible for this amount to be collected as dues during your Clearance.
Q8. What companies will come based on AMCAT?
A8. Please refer to their website for the list of clients. As per agreement with Aspiring Minds, atleast 2 of their clients will recruit based on AMCAT scores.

A9. No. This test will be taken over the LAN in the college labs. The AMCAT server will be in the lab. There will be no internet connectivity during this test. (I must add that this is one of my favourite questions:-)
